MYTH, MYSTICISM & STORY Starts March 15: An Online Workshop with Carol Pearson and Me

Carol Pearson’s and my upcoming class, Myth, Mysticism, and Story, is based on my system of 12 archetypes in human development and evolution. Archetypes are universal patterns in thought, creativity, nature and human designed things. Carol Pearson’s system, described in What Stories Are You Living? Discover Your Archetypes – Transform Your Life, focuses on archetypal characters and story patterns. These characters are the Idealist, Realist, Warrior, Caregiver, Seeker, Lover, Creator, Revolutionary, Ruler, Jester, Sage, and Magician, and these describe patterns in our minds, that affect what we do. Each of these has potentially happy endings that fulfill human desires.

Carol and I will explore ways our life paths are shaped by these primal stories, from our spiritual lives to our ordinary daily choices. It’s an introduction — 3 sessions (March 15, 22, and 29 from 7:00 - 8:30) where we’ll open up conversations and storytelling around these 12 ways of knowing ourselves and the world. You can register here: Columbia Center for Spiritual Living. The cost is only $60 and a suggested love offering.

I’ve been working with and teaching Carol’s system for 20 years, and it’s been a transformative experience! Now I use it for organizations and leaders as a wonderful tool to learn not only who we are now but who we might become if we get conscious about the stories we’re living, our preferences, and our challenges. Archetypes are a universal tool to wake up to our own power and gifts, too. Come join us!

You can read more about these archetypes absolutely free, by going to www.carolspearson.com and scroll down on the homepage to where it says “Browse Your Archetypes.” There you can access information about each, although written for a secular audience. Likely you will be able to identify a few that are active in your life now or in other people you know or narratives you are hearing, viewing, or reading.

Hope to see you on March 15!

Carol B.
